Just picked this game up and I’m enjoying it a lot, part of me wishes it was more a straight forward tactics game but it’s still fun

i love this game its like a combine of MGS and yu-gi-oh both games i love i first thought it was a ps2 game but when it was in the psp i like it more

@BillyCauseyjr Nope, in this game it’s “Snake”. A clone of Solid Snake. Since the story is not canon, the original Snake died (it’s a bit ironic calling “original” to someone who is a clone already)

@KazuoKiriyama666 I actually thought IV was ok, it felt too disjointed and I think having Solid Snake grow old like that was lame but as far as gameplay goes it was the best….. even if I would have preferred the mgs3 style camo over octocamo. the story however felt like they were just tying up loose ends as sloppily as poissible so Kojima can move on. I think the guy who directed the acid sereis would make a good director for cannon because the story in those are better than you’d think.

@TheSoniiq Solid SNke is still the code name of the main character in all the metal gear titles except mgs3, portable ops, and peace walker…. in those you play as Big Boss.

I don’t believe you about Solidus’s body, I didn’t see it moving at all, but even if that is how it happened, that in no way means he was still alive. Bodies are known to occasionally twitch after death.
As for Raiden, yeah, you’re right. Hideo wanted it to end with MGS2, but it didn’t. Too many unanswered questions, even after 3 was made. when Raiden resurfaced in 4, Hideo decided to make him the new Cyborg Ninja, simple as that.
Might I also mention, Your approach with your opinion about the two games also comes off as being ignorant of another’s opinion as well. You’re just as guilty of it as I am. If you want me to respect that you Don’t like the games, How about you respect that I DO like the games? I’ll admit I wasn’t acting exactly mature, but neither were you.

Play MGS4 again, Solidus’s body is still moving. Also, pretty sure that Raiden wasn’t intended of being a ninja cyborg at all.

Clearly, you simply don’t want to accept what’s canon, and would rather have things as you want, like any typical Star Wars Fantard. If you dislike the Canon story line for what it is now, stop playing the games, otherwise, stop complaining and accept the events as they are, and just enjoy them.
